Shri Atul K. Bhagwati born on 12th July 1932 in Ahmedabad. He did his B. E. in Electrical & Mechanical from Pune University in 1953 & established ATE (Associated Textile Engineers) in 1954. ATE is associated with Textile Industry for about 55 years. Shri Bhagwati has considerable experience in promoting joint ventures and technical collaboration with foreign companies. Besides ATE he is Chairman of number of companies which includes:

• Erhardt + Leimer (India) Private Limited
• Johnson Pump (India) Limited
• Stovec Industries Limited
• Trumac Engineering Company Private Limited
• Zinser Textile System Private Limited

He is also Director of Matcon Export Enterprises Ltd

He was President of prestigious institutions like Indian Merchant Chambers, Indo German Chamber of Commerce, Indian Textile Accessories & Machinery Manufacturers Association, National Centre of Quality Management and is presently a member of these institutions.

He was Chairman of Textile Machinery Manufacturers Association, International Machinery Exhibition Society, Navi Mumbai Committee of Indian Merchants Chamber and presently a member of these institutions.

He is Trustee and Life Member of The Textile Association (India), Mumbai Unit and always remain guiding force and strong supporter in various activities of the Association.
